Discount Fishing Line

This section of the shop you will see that we offer fishing line, leader lines, Berkley Line, Stren Fishing Line and many other high named brands in fishing and leader line. We carry them by the spool and by the lb test, so if you just got a brand new reel and need to upgrade on the pound test, make sure that you have some good discount fishing line in your saltwater tackle box. We also have great prices on leader lines, which are a most when you are going for the heavier fish that put up the big fights.

Fishing Line

Fishing line is measured by pound test. Meaning the line will break once a certain amount of pounds of pressure are applied to the fishing line. At the end of a fishing rig you will need a leader line, which should be at least  three times stronger than the  line you have wrapping around your spool. Depending on what you are aiming to catch, the leader should be 1 foot to 3 foot long. You can connect the two lines by either using a swivel or tying the two lines together. The leader line is generally at least a foot long, and should be no longer than 2 feet long.
